We are a NVOCC (Non Vessel Operator Common Carrier) but instead of transporting the goods via sea route, we deliver containers via the European, Trans Siberian and Chinese railway network. The containers are transported from the Supplier’s cargo railway station to the Buyer’s cargo railway station.

In addition this solution entails some advantages in comparison to the traditional sea route.
A fundamental advantage is of course to save time. The transit time between China and Europe is about 6 weeks with a sea voyage of more than 20.000 km. In comparison to that the Land Bridge route is only approximately 11.000 km. This is a temporal saving of about 50%.

As Russia, Ukraine and Belarus operate on a wide gauge railway, while China and Europe use standard gauge tracks, containers are transferred from wagon to wagon at existing cargo/ container terminals at the border between China and Russia and between Ukraine or Belarus and Poland/Slovakia/Hungary.

To avoid long waiting times at the border stations, we have special agreements with the customs and border authorities.
A unique documentation system has been developed based on a single Way Bill together with an electronic Cargo Manifest. Final destination can be changed easily during the transit which gives the service a high level of flexibility.

Moreover we do make a point of control and security. Our control centres in Europe and China are in full coordination with each other. They prepare all the documentation including manifest, rail wagons, container lists, and agreements with clients.

On the wide gauge section of the route, our service will be by block trains without stoppages and handling. All containers are monitored at 34 checkpoints, at least twice a day.
Security is provided throughout the wide gauge section of the route by the Russian Railways (RZD), and all transit is covered by insurance.
